Catherine Toews is an artist, graphic designer, writer, and arts administrator. Born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from the University of Manitoba and is in the process of completing a Graduate Professional Certificate in Cultural Sector Leadership through the School of Public Administration at the University of Victoria. She has worked with a variety of galleries, museums and arts organizations, including Mentoring Artists for Women's Art (MAWA) and the Artel Arts Accomodation & Venue. She is currently manager of the Museum of Health Care at Kingston and a member of the board of directors at Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre.
